The Nurturing Parenting Program teaches parenting skills and techniques to 
former Gateway Cottage residents.  The program helps mothers communicate with their children in a nurturing, life-affirming way; to develop empathy for their children; to establish essential family routines; and ultimately to form positive habits that build a healthy, secure family unit.

The Nurturing Parent Program is also available to the community through referrals by DFACS, the Department of Family and Children Services.
