Teen Center

Call (478) 953-5675 or (478) 929-6967

After school, during school holidays and summer breaks, Hodac’s Teen Center offers a safe and stimulating environment for youth ages 10-18. Activities at the Teen Center are designed to help young people become more independent and to learn techniques  for navigating the challenges they face – from taking a stand against peer pressure, to developing essential job skills. The service is free to Houston County families.

Positive life choices are emphasized at the Teen Center, including the rejection of harmful behavior such as smoking, drinking, engaging in irresponsible sex, and drug use.

Teen Center members participate in a wide range of youth development and health education activities designed to reduce risk-taking behavior, foster responsible decision making, and encourage positive relationships and community involvement.

The staff and volunteers at the Teen Center are carefully screened and professionally trained. Their task is to help teens develop their greatest potential, to expose youth to perspectives and places they might not otherwise experience, and to instill personal and community responsibility.

Hodac believes positive communication between teens and their parents is essential to a child’s successful development. Parents are included in Teen Center activities whenever possible, and Parents and Adolescents Coming Together (PACT) workshops help to enhance parent/child communication.

Hodac’s Teen Center is located at 115 Wallace Dr., Warner Robins.

The Center is open Monday-Friday from 3-6 p.m.  During school holidays and summer break periods, it is open weekdays from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
